Checking Out

No Cell Phones.

No T.V.

No Heat.

What?! Okay there will be heat, but it will be primitive.

Me bang rocks, make fire. Oh, who am I kidding - I ordered myself a 3,000 BTU Portable Propane heater fo' sho'.

We're heading up to God's Country this weekend. Big camping trip with my family. Sleeping in the woods should be great for my back. Okay maybe not, but at least no one will be able to hear me scream. Hooray for simplicity.

As if it were even necessary to mention, my posting and commenting will be even more non existent for a bit since we won't even have much FM radio reception.

And btw, the tab that gives me the options for font is mysteriously no where to be found. Seems like the universe is helping me prepare to get by without all the fancy modern conveniences I've come to love.

Peace Out.

I'm LOL at picturing your camping trip. Imagine this - chaperoning a group of visually impaired/special needs teenagers (10 of them) with 10 other adults on a whitewater rafting trip through the backwoods of Utah. Not seeing another single soul for four days. Four days! The world could have ended and we would have had no clue. :) It was fun, but never again!!! I love my technology, the bathroom, toilet paper, and all that other simple stuff. However, it is nice to uplug once in awhile. Have fun and I hope your back can take it.

Ew. Camping. I think I just threw up. Good luck....I know some people like that kind of thing.

Enjoy your camping trip!! Your more of a woman than I. My camping requires walls, electricity and a cabin. :)

That sounds like so much fun! I love camping, but the hubby is strictly a bed with A/C and running water kind of guy. :(

Hope you have a great time!

So you're saying you're not the camping type... Are you tenting it? Pictures from that should be fun. :)

I hope your back has improved a bit and that your husband is still being your dutiful helper.

Hope you had a great time and that your back played nice for you.

I love camping and am off for another weekend trip of it myself this coming weekend. Kayaking, sleeping under the stars, natural hot springs and sauna caves, and wine...lots and lots of wine. (-;
