Let the impatience begin. I am seriously counting down the minutes until Friday. Brian will be picking up our vials from the Cryo Bank that morning and delivering them via Nitrogen tank, to our clinic. We are super lucky that we are so close to a facility because shipping can cost anywhere from $200 - $500. We are only about 40 minutes away from the CB and the clinic is another 30 from there. He has an appointment with the CB at 9:30am and a scheduled delivery at 10:30 with our Clinic. I just want to know that our "cargo" is safely in the hands of our clinic, and ready to transfer to me next week.
We don't have a whole lot planned for this weekend, which by the way is my favorite kind of weekend, but I still feel like there is so much do to. Fortunately the bulk of that is pampering myself. Yeay. Late Saturday morning I will be meeting up with a very good childhood friend (Hey Weez!) She is one of the very few people I know IRL that are aware of this blog. We're going to do some serious window shopping and grab some lunch. Then later that afternoon I'm gonna get my hair did. Gotta get those highlights in before my tww. And SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, Brian and I are getting massages! Yahhooooo! I have a few Gift Certificates I was given for my birthday, so I'll be putting those towards 80 minutes of Toxin Releasing, Deep Tissue Massaging goodness. Brian is getting one because he works so very hard, and because he was so very jealous about my appointment. But he'll be getting 65 minutes. Ha.
OH MY GOD I forgot the most important part! I start OPKing Saturday morning! I should see a positive on Monday or Tuesday. So I'll go in for my back to back's as soon as I see that lovely smiley face! Sorry for all the exclamation points! But if you've read more than two of my posts, you'd know that I chronically over punctuate!!!! AND I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I AM SO VERY EXCITED TO GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!!!

Yay for a blog post to help me pass the time! Yay for vial delivery! Yay for a relaxing weekend complete with highlights and massages! And YAY for OPK arrival time! (I'm an over-punctuator too)
Now I have that song "O.P.P." stuck in my head because of your OPK. See you Saturday!!
Indeed the excitement begins! Wishing you all the best - hope it goes more smoothly than mine!! Enjoy your massage, what a wonderful weekend it sounds!
O.P.P stands for Other Peoples Pregnancies in this blogosphere... But you're welcome for the earworm.
YAY!!! That's great news, I can't believe it's finally here. KMFC!!!
Woohoo, Melissa, it's almost time!! You're sooooo close now. I'm so thrilled for you that you're getting this process started. It's been a long time coming. And I'm slightly jealous of your massage. Gooooood luck!
Did you say you had a weekend with nothing to do? Because that sounds like a pretty full weekend to me!
But, I have to say that for all of the excitement in that post, I don't think there were enough exclamation points for all of the excitement going on!
Hooray for picking up the vials and moving forward. I am so happy for you!
Hooray for getting your party started!!! :-)
Found you on Bella's blog. Good luck with #1!! I have done 3 DIUIs now (after 3 failed IVFs and two miscarriages due to what my old RE felt were sperm problems although my eggs were no champs either) - the first was completely natural - no meds - and I got pregnant even though I lost that pregnancy a few days latter. The next natural DIUI was a negative. I am in my 2ww for my third DIUI, for which I used clomid.
WOW! It's almost here! I'm so excited to see you full of energy and to see that your plan is moving forward!
I would've done the same thing and picked up the vials myself. Just to be sure. How exciting!
I wish you all the best and truly hope this is it for you two.
Please keep us updated ;-)
That's very exciting!
Good luck :-)
